VECOPLAN, LLC Announces Building Expansion

Vecoplan, one of the world’s leading manufacturer of wood grinders, announced that they are expanding their North American operations located in Archdale, NC. The construction contract was recently awarded to Landmark Construction in partnership with Lafferty Architecture, both of Winston-Salem, NC. This 30,000 square foot addition will result in 60,000 square feet of total space.

According to Len Beusse, COO of Vecoplan, LLC "the decision to expand our building was driven by our rapid growth. We have simply outgrown our manufacturing space, our warehouse space and our office space. Over the last few years we have been fortunate enough to have experienced substantial growth in four out of the five market sectors we serve, and feel increasing our space will allow us to become more efficient. Our growth is a testament to the quality of our people, as well as the machines and service that they deliver to the wood working industry."

The expanded facility will encompass approximately 10,000 square feet of office and 50,000 square feet of warehouse space. The enlarged warehouse section will accommodate a new state-of-the-art test lab, machine storage/showroom, staging/shipping area, and will be configured to allow for future manufacturing.
