Vecoplan Names Gary Shorter Senior Service Technician

Gary Shorter has joined Vecoplan LLC, a worldwide leader in size reduction technologies, as a Senior Service Technician

Gary Shorter has joined Vecoplan LLC, a worldwide leader in size reduction technologies, as a Senior Service Technician. Responsibilities of his new position include installation and start-ups of individual machines and complete systems, as well as maintenance and service on existing control panels, machines and systems in the field.

Shorter has 30 years of technical experience in industrial machinery applications, and prior to joining Vecoplan he headed up his own company, Shorter Engineering, for 14 years. Shorter Engineering preformed installations and start-ups of, as well as service on, European and Japanese industrial machinery sold in the U.S.

When asked about Mr. Shorter’s addition to the company, Todd Carswell, VP of Technical Services at Vecoplan, replied “With 30 years of practical field experience, half of it spent running his own company, Gary has the expertise and decision making ability that our Service Department needs to meet our growing volume of systems installations and the increasing sophistication of the systems we install.”
