Models That Address A Wide Range Of Applications

VECOPLAN, a leader in size reduction technology for industrial wood waste, will show a range of grinders at IWF. Machines selected for display provide an overview of Vecoplan’s proficiency in application specific wood waste solutions. These will include a continuous feed horizontal model; three hopper fed vertical models, and a small footprint “Shorty” model.

The VH18/60 CW will represent machines in Vecoplan’s horizontal series at IWF. Continuously fed by vibratory conveyors, VH models are specifically designed for maximum efficiency in the grinding of wood strips, edge rippings, slabs, mouldings, and other lineal scrap.

Three of Vecoplan’s most popular models, the RG42/30 U, the RG52/60 U, and the RG42/40 U XL will be shown as examples of Vecoplan’s line of multi-purpose, vertical machines. Fed via hoppers, these grinders handle virtually all types of wood scrap in a true “dump & run” fashion. U models are designed for heavy-duty duty applications and XL models for extreme-duty applications.

The RG32/20 Z “Shorty” displayed at the show will give customers the opportunity to see the innovative space saving features in this grinder series. “Shorty” models feature a shorter feed ram, providing the machines with smaller footprints and allowing them to be retro-fitted in tighter areas or to maximize space utilization in new facilities. Hopper volumes and in-feed openings remain the same, with ram feed strokes calibrated for maximum throughput efficiency.
