Vecoplan Announces Network of Authorized Service Centers

Vecoplan, a world leader in advanced industrial waste shredding and grinding technologies, is pleased to announce the formal activation of a network of factory-trained and certified service representatives across North America. This network, along with a multi-million dollar OEM parts inventory, ensures that the 1,500+ Vecoplan shredder and grinder customers in North America receive prompt and effective attention when in need of these services.

"The network didn't happen over night. It is the result of several years of training and development", according to David Hess, Technical Service Manager for Vecoplan. The formal activation began at a recent technical training seminar held on November 4 and 5 at Vecoplan facilities in Archdale, NC where approximately 40 individuals earned certification as Authorized Vecoplan Service Representatives. This is in addition to approximately 30 staff members and independent representatives who are already in place and involved in the technical support of customers. The training included protocol for system start up, basic maintenance procedures, and advanced shredder repair/rebuild. The network is trained in plant-based shredding equipment and systems, as well as Vecoplan's Mobile Shredding Technologies (state-of-the-art shredding trucks for on-site document destruction).

The Service Centers, along with availability of quality parts, demonstrate Vecoplan's overall commitment and dedication to customer satisfaction after the sale", stated Ross Davis, Vecoplan's Parts Manager.

The quality of the Vecoplan equipment is superior, but it does have to be maintained. And, while the frequency of breakdown is low, it is machinery and it does happen", stated Davis.
