Vecoplan to exhibit at NAID Conference

March 16, 2007

VECOPLAN, LLC Will Mix Business with Fun at the 2007 NAID Annual Conference

ARCHDALE, NC/March 16, 2007—Vecoplan, LLC, a leading manufacturer of plant-based and mobile document and product destruction systems for the secure destruction industry, today announced its exhibition plans for the 2007 NAID Annual Conference. This year’s NAID Conference is being held April 11—13 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida.

“The exhibits, or expo, portion of the Conference has been growing leaps and bounds year after year to the point that its every bit as energetic and important to this industry as some of the major trade fairs are to other large, established industries,” explains Len Beusse, Chief Operating Officer of Vecoplan. “In fact, I feel this industry continues to be extremely eager to seek out the latest technology and put it to work for them to gain competitive advantages, maximize profits and provide their customers with the best available service possible.

A bonus for Vecoplan as an industry vendor is that while the number of attendees is relative low, the percentage of qualified buyers is very high. Plus, it’s small enough that we are afforded the opportunity to spend quality time with existing customers,” Beusse adds.

Vecoplan will exhibit both inside the convention center and outside at the mobile exhibits. The inside booth will cater to the attendees during breaks, lunches and receptions. Vecoplan’s outside exhibit is going to be set up in a massive space measuring approximately 110 ft. x 180 ft. “We’re going to have a little fun this year with a sports theme. We will certainly have a few new introductions with regard to our mobile systems, but the trucks will be mixed with games, competitions and contests,” states Robb Espinosa, Vecoplan National Sales Manager—Mobile Technologies. The industry is expanding into many new areas of secure destruction that goes beyond paper documents.

“While electronic scrap has long been a target of recyclers for recovery of plastics and precious metals, the secure destruction industry has been overwhelmed lately with requests to destroy hard drives that contain confidential data,” says Beusse. “Vecoplan has heard this and is addressing this need with shredding equipment designed with hard drive destruction in mind. Attendees at the NAID Conference will see demonstrations of the latest Vecoplan LLC equipment produced for this purpose,” Beusse confirms.

Vecoplan also intends to promote its new VPS™ technology (Variable Particle Size) which makes the Veco units even more efficient when faced with frequently varying customer shredding specs. The “fun and games” portion of the Vecoplan exhibit will consist of popular sports competitions such as “2-minute Drill” football toss, “Double Shot” basketball game, “Pitcher’s Dream” baseball game that records speed, accuracy and endurance of pitches, and “Deluxe Putt-Putt”. A special putting competition will conclude on the last day of the Conference by the give away of a 42” flat-panel plasma HD TV as the grand prize for the competition.
