Vecostock!  THE PARTY at this year’s NAID Conference! And You’re Invited!

Vecoplan, a worldwide leader in size reduction technology, is throwing a party and you’re invited. The 2008 NAID Conference is rapidly approaching and most of us are busy planning our schedules to get the most out of this – the most important annual event in our industry. There will be seminars to attend, friends and associates to network with, and business to conduct – so why not have a party.

And a party’s not much of a party without a theme. As we were thinking of possible themes for our party two things kept coming up. First, let’s tie it into the unveiling of our new shred truck at NAID and second Green, Green, Green, - everybody’s talking about the movement to Green technologies!
Well, we didn’t setout to build a Green truck. Our goal was only to build a better truck, one that shredded better, faster, more efficiently, more economically, and was even easier to operate. Luckily for us, in doing all of this our engineers just happened to come up with the most energy-efficient and environmentally friendly shredding vehicle available today – the VST-42e!

But still – Green? How do you do a party around Green and make it fun? Again luckily for us, we have a few old X-hippies here at Vecoplan and they were quick to point out that the whole Green thing wasn’t new. The ecology movement started in the 60’s with the hippies . . . and, other than saving the planet, what did hippies like best . . . A Good Party! So You Are Cordially Invited To VecoStock!

We’re flying in Downtown Senate to perform original music and maybe a few classics from the Summer of Love. There will be Hippies, Yippies, Freaks, Go Go Girls, a Psychedelic Light Show, a Love-In Video, Peace Signs, Love Beads, Lava Lamps and other Memorabilia from the 60’s – who knows you might even bump into a few 60’s celebrities!  And of course there will be hors d’oeuvres and an Open Bar.

Who – all NAID members. What – VecoStock, a 60’s Block Party. When – Wednesday April 2, 2008, 8:30 pm until. Where – Disneyland Hotel, Magic Kingdom Ballroom. Why – Because we like you! (That last one was for the few of you old enough to remember The Mickey Mouse Club, after all it is Disneyland.)

Bring your business card and drop it in the far-out fish bowl as you enter – cause we’ll be awarding hip and groovy 60’s prizes every half hour during the throw down.

So break out your faded bell-bottom blue jeans, put on your tie-dyed t-shirt and join us for a night of Fun and Rock & Roll! - - - Or just come as you are - - - Oh Yeah this will all be done in a very ecologically green and sustainable fashion!
